to our booth at IMS-2003
You
are warm welcome to come visit ELVA-1 Millimeter Wave Division at the
International Microwave Symposium 2003 show at the Pennsylvania
Convention Center, June 8 through 13th to view our new products and
catch up with ELVA's latest developments. This year samples of FMCW
radar front-end and 26.5GHz–140GHz Cassegrain Antennas can be viewed at
out booth.
You can find us at Booth #2356, and it is next to the Beverage Service Area in Hall A.

Our New
Product Catalog brochure is Available. Order your copy now!
We updated our Product Catalog brochure. There are new products for mm-wave instrumentation and test measurement, as well as new passive and active components covered in the Catalog. For the first time ELVA's telecom products and Cassegrain Antennas were added to this Q2/2003 brochure. A CD disk with a copy of our website (May 2002 version) is accompanied the brochure. There are dozens of PDF files with specs and data sheets for ELVA's products on the web, so when owned the CD you don't need to spend time for downloading these files from the Internet.

Power Supplies for 180-1100GHz BWO tubes now available from stock
We are happy to let our customers know that Power Supplies for 180-1100GHz BWO tubes are available from stock now. These Power Supplies for BWO tubes provide high-tension current within a wide range of voltages that covered any 180-1100GHz BWO tube requirements.
Also, please mind you can order complete 180-1100GHz Sweeping Oscillator of SMW series. The SMW Sweeping Oscillator is a fully packaged swept signal generator. It has very low noise feature, for example - frequency spectrum width on 300GHZ is about 300KHz only. Please mind that powerful permanent magnets with up to 1.1T available now to be shipped within SMW Sweeping Oscillator as internal component.

New series of 37-170 GHz BWO Sweepers announced
The
new SGMW series is fully packaged sweeper series for 37-170 GHz (covered
in 7 bands). The sweeper consists of
external module with BWO-X series tube and the power supply. The device contains
all the electronic circuitry and power supplies required to provide the
operation of BWO. PC compatible microcomputer integrated into the device
provides operating control of the system. The sweeper self-tests at
turn-on. BWO tube is fully protected against improper voltage connections.
High voltage monitor is built-in. There is input for control of frequency
by means of an external voltage. Phase locking feature is provided. One
power supply can be used with different BWOs.
The new device design has a number of advantages compare to its predecessor. Particularly, there is a remote module with BWO tube that allows using it at hard-to-reach places within tokamaks and other types of huge equipment plant in research centers. With the remote BWO module, the ELVA-1 sweeper itself can be installed quite away (up to 3m), allowing more comfortable conditions to organize a scientist’s workplace. Another great advantage of new series of BWO sweepers is its new power supply unit that allows feed up to few BWO tubes with different working frequencies. Thanks to this new power supply, the total cost for wide-band sweeper can be well reduced.
